Refund Policy

Global Media Registry, operated by Alessandro De Marco, sells access passes to a digital directory. Access starts the moment your payment goes through, which is why the usual 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to a pass you asked to start immediately. This page explains what we refund anyway, and how.

Passes you bought yourself

Before paying you confirm that you want access straight away and that you give up the right to cancel the purchase. We therefore do not routinely refund a pass once it has started. If something went wrong, for example you were charged twice, the site was unavailable for a substantial part of your pass, or you bought by mistake and have not opened any agency details, write to us and we will put it right.

Auto-renew charges

Auto-renew is off unless you switch it on, and we email you before every renewal charge. If a renewal goes through that you did not want, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the charge, provided you have not opened any agency details during the renewed period. Turning auto-renew off after a charge does not refund that charge by itself; your access continues to the date you paid for and no further charge is taken.

How to ask

Contact us from the address on your account, quoting the date of the payment. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, so approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank. You can also raise a refund request directly with Paddle from the receipt they emailed you.

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in, including your right to a remedy if the service is faulty or not as described.
